Japanese bathhouse “Ofuro”
Today we can evaluate not only all the best of Japanese cuisine or traditional Japanese tea drinking, but also enjoy fine bathing ceremony, because one can’t name the treatment of ablution in traditional bath “ofuro” in other words. Going to Japanese bathhouse “ofuro” consists of several stages during which clients plunge into special casks - furako in turns. Our casks - furato are produced from woods of Siberian cedar that strengthens a healthy effect of steam in Japanese bathhouse. Traditional cask furako is equipped with oven made from stainless steel (for open rooms) or electro heating of water (for closed rooms). The temperature of water in cedar cask furako should be not less than 40-45 degrees; the clients take a seat in furako in a way so the area of heart stays above the water. Ofuro normalizes metabolism, cuts off rheumatic pains, quickly eliminates nervous tension and recreates which Japanese sportsmen especially value. After water treatments which take 10-15minutes dry bath in next cask furako follows. Sawdust of cedar is put or essential oils are added. Due to healthy properties of Siberian cedar such bath from sawdust of cedar has a very strong healthy effect: it perfectly warms up, lends preventive help with catarrhal illnesses. At the end of bathing ceremony the client is put on the warm sea pebbles that are further on used for stone massage.
